Tom McConnell
Tom spent his Summers in the UK’s Lake District and his school years on hikes and expeditions. Too restless for computer games he was always outside in nature building forts, learning bush crafts, and developing a love for the natural world. After university, a love of cycling took him through Europe’s great mountain ranges, a calling that kept he coming back for more.
With a career in the city, his appreciation for nature, and the mountains in particular, has continued to grow and he strongly feels that his children, and all children, need to experience this connection again. For Tom, the mountains are the perfect antidote to modern life.
