The Peak Pioneers Experience
How we think about our week together
The Peak Pioneers itinerary blends real outdoor skills, environment and ecological education, physical activities and games, and emotional and artistic experiences. Throughout all these activities we encourage our pioneers to explore social skills, leadership and teamwork, and personal growth and development. Children leave our camp with real world skills, joyful memories, a sense of achievement, confidence, and new friends.
Guides you can trust
We're selective about who leads our camps. All of our guides are professionally qualified mountain leaders who are as passionate about working with children as they are about the outdoors.
With parents in mind
We know you’re on holiday too. We work closely with you and your accommodation provider to keep drop-offs, kit lists, and packed lunches simple, so you can make the most of your time in the mountains.
Fully Insured
Peak Pioneers meets the highest standards of outdoor education and child safety. Our programmes are fully accredited and insured, so you can relax knowing everything is taken care of

Each day has a primary activity. Woven into the flow of the day are a whole number of other activities: Art with nature, wildlife interactions, environmental & ecological lessons, orienteering skills, survival skills, building shelters, tree top rope courses, group bonding games, archery, laser target shooting, crystal hunting, zip lines, free play, and a whole load more invented by our creative guides.
Each day the group guides choose what works best with the weather, the energy, and disposition of the group.
We know there is nothing worse than booking something and then having no contact until the morning of the experience. After you register and in the run up to the camp, we will contact you so that you and your child know what to expect and feel excited about the week to come.
